There was a practice day on Thursday 20th June for the Tatton Long Border project at rail partnership director Harry Allen's house. Harry, who has been leading on the project and wife Penny have been doing a fantastic job nurturing trays of plants which will soon make up the display. Station Friends from along the line have been working together to prepare for the show which runs from 17th to the 21st July at Tatton Park, Knutsford. …

The students of Greenbank school have been working at Lostock Gralam every Monday since spring time on an ornamental flower border for the Manchester side platform. Although the work has been tough at times clearing the grassy bank so make a space for the flowers, they`ve been spurred on by the enthusiasm of their teacher Jodie Johnson. …
