Four Mid Cheshire Line station friends’ groups picked up awards at the Cheshire Best Kept Stations awards evening at Crewe Alexandra FC on Thursday 6th February. These were Altrincham, Hale, Delamere and Mouldsworth and a special whole line award for last years success at RHS Tatton where the volunteers created an award-winning long border.
Poetry Board at Altrincham Interchange
Friends of Altrincham Interchange have created a themed poetry board for the Altrincham Interchange ticket office with poems taken from our new book Hare and Rabbit; Travels on a Train. This beautifully illustrated book of verse, funded by the rail partnership, was created by Altrincham based writer and artist Pam Bradshaw.

Friends of Hale have been festooning their station with festive wreathes and it even has its own Xmas tree.

The scarlet p[painted sign spelling Hale contract nicely with the bottle green painted planters of seasonal flowers. Looking good Friends of Hale!
