id Cheshire CRP were invited to attend a publicity event at Piccadilly station by network Rail to mark Community Rail Week.
They joined other rail partnerships on a stall at the station and had the opportunity to hand out publicity and chat to passers-by about community rail on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st May. A good number of the mid Cheshire volunteers came along to help put including Jim and Jon from Mouldsworth and Hale (pictured).
On Thursday 23rd May the CRP hosted a meet up at The Golden Pheasant in Plumley to say thank you to all the mid Cheshire Line Station Friends for their hard work and dedication to make the stations look their best. The evening event was a chance to share their successes, make plans, socialise and to enjoy good food and company plus a drink or 2!
On Friday 24th May pupils from Stamford Park Primary School came to Pl4 Altrincham Interchange to put up their fantastic new poster, which has an anti-bullying theme, in the community notice board. The pupils also met some of the station staff and learned about rail safety.
We hope they enjoyed their visit as much as the passengers will enjoy admiring their handy work!
