In early October, the station volunteers met up at The Golden Pheasant in Plumley to catch up and share ideas. It was also the perfect opportunity to say thank you to John Hulme and John Oates, founding members and partnership directors who stood down recently after 20 years at the helm.
They were presented with special plaques featuring miniature versions of all the Marvellous Days Out rail art posters. Outdoor enthusiast Ian Hulme who has given much IT support to the partnership over the years was also presented with a book of lake district walks.
