Community Rail Officer Post – £28,500 p.a. (full time 3 year contract, 35 hrs per week)
The Mid Cheshire Community Rail Partnership (CRP) is a long established community rail partnership whose rail line connects Chester to Manchester via Northwich, Knutsford, Altrincham, and Stockport.
The CRP has a track record of success, being named the top Partnership in the country in 2015, because it has enthusiasm, a can-do attitude, and a wealth of community expertise.
We are looking for a new Community Rail Officer to take forward our ambitious plans to link local communities with the Mid Cheshire Line through creative projects that promote sustainable transport.
We have strong links with organisations along the Line and have positive workings relationships with local authorities and the rail industry – who are our funding stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with a range of skills and experience who can work flexibly, with a mix of volunteers and professional colleagues.
We welcome applicants with backgrounds in business, arts, community development, regeneration, and related fields.
We welcome job shares, and applications from all sections of the community.
Our office is based in Northwich, but applicants will be expected to work from a home office as well.
