The Mid Cheshire Line Art Exhibtion opens at the Weaver Hall Museum in Northwich on Tuesday 16th July….
The Mid Cheshire Line Art Exhibition featuring 14 framed 1930’s style rail posters depicting destinations on the Mid Cheshire Line, that connects Manchester to Chester via Stockport, Altrincham, Knutsford and Northwich, is now at the Weaver Hall Musuem on London Road in Northwich.
The touring exhibition created by Chester based artist, Nicky Thompson, and sponsored by the Mid Cheshire Community Rail Partnership, is open daily except on Mondays.

The fabulous poster pastiche based on the work of Frank Henry Mason and others was first launched at the Lion Salt Works in Northwich by Pete Waterman in August 2017.
Since then, these Marvellous Days Out posters for the Mid Cheshire Line have achieved international success with thousands of copies sold both globally and in the UK.
The posters, in the 1930s vintage illustrative style, include Manchester, Stockport, Altrincham, Hale, Knutsford, Lostock Gralam, Northwich, Delamere, Chester and four Chester Zoo posters Elephants, Giraffes, Penguins and Tigers.
